How much does it cost to enter business awards?

Entry fees for UK business awards run from nothing to four figures, and no organiser publishes theirs next to anyone else's. These are the real, sourced fees for the 27 programmes on our calendar, each read off the organiser's own page.

The short answer

Of the 27 programmes we track, 6 charge nothing to enter, 15 publish a fee, and 6 have not published one for the current cycle. In pounds, the cheapest way in is £125 at UK Company Culture Awards and the dearest is £350 at UK FinTech Awards. The typical cheapest tier is £240 before VAT.

The useful number is not the average. It is the tier you will actually pay, which depends on when you enter and how many categories you submit. 5 of the 15 paid programmes raise the price as the deadline approaches, and 4 charge one fee for as many categories as you like. Most quote before VAT.

Programmes that publish a fee in pounds

Cheapest way in first. A range means the same entry costs more the later you leave it. A single figure with a note means the organiser’s other prices buy something different, such as a three-entry bundle.

Some programmes open to UK companies are run on international entry platforms and bill in dollars. Your card rate decides the final cost, so we quote the organiser’s figure rather than convert it.

Four things that change what you pay

1 · When you enter

5 of the 15 paid programmes price in tiers, and the gap is not small. The UK Company Culture Awards run from £125 at their earliest tier to £265 at the final deadline: £140 for deciding sooner.

2 · How many categories

4 programmes charge one fee and let you submit as many categories as you like. The rest charge per entry, so three categories costs three times the figure. In a real budget this is usually the largest single difference.

3 · VAT

Most organisers quote before VAT. A £299 entry is £358.80 on the invoice, and £260 per entry across three categories is £936. If you cannot reclaim it, use the gross figure when you ask for sign-off.

4 · The ceremony

Entry is not the only line. Free-to-enter programmes commonly fund themselves through ceremony places, and paid ones sell tables separately. Neither cost sits inside an entry fee, and neither is required to be shortlisted.

What the entry fee does not buy: the entry itself

Every figure on this page goes to the organiser. None of it pays for choosing the right category, mapping the judging criteria or writing 1,800 words of evidenced prose. That is either two to four days of your own time or someone else’s fee.

Each fee is read off the organiser’s own entry or pricing page and stored with the date we checked it. The figures here are generated from that record, not retyped, so this page cannot drift away from the calendar.

Where an organiser publishes nothing, this page says so. Where an organiser contradicts itself, we take the live entry page over an older announcement and record the date we looked.
